This dhurrie is made from sheep’s natural wool and woven by hand on the handloom. There are no colors added. There are only a few families left doing this kind of weaving, “kharad,” on a primitive loop, as this technique is slowly disappearing. Hand-looms are a dying art that Ichcha hopes to preserve and promote. These dhurries are an effort towards that. Please note that sizes may vary 1-2 inches.
